Lili Marleen Rankine ...
... sang when she was a teenager. In adolescence she discovered the gospel music of her many stays in New York.
Back in Germany, she was motivated and wanted on stage. She discovered for herselves the opportunity to perform on stage and karaoke at various events. That was one of the most important experiences
she could ever make beginning her journey as a singer.
Lili Marleen´s music career began finally in a Gospelband in Berlin/Germany, first as a choir member, a few months later also for a few songs as a solo artist in the "Abraxas Gospel Band".
Two years later, she had already written a few songs that she wanted to perform with the Gospelband. Her Song "On Our Way" could only be played once on stage, with a sparse band because, "Abraxas"
was facing a break. She left the band to work freely as a solo artist and with his own music and an arranger.
She wrote some more tracks and met some time later during her radio activities in Dusseldorf/Germany the instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer Juergen Dahmen. The followed several months
was studio work, the video shoot with "bevision", working with professionell children music school "Kids On Stage", and appearances in Neuss, Dusseldorf, Cologne and Berlin - Germany.
Lili Marleen Rankine embarked on an intensive search for national and international musicians from different genres. She personally casted the artests for her new music charity project "IMP ALL 4
ONE".
At that time she worked on starting her own record-label, for a first maxi single CD and an LP. The Maxi CD was
ready for production and publication.
in 2008 it was finished. Lili Marleen Rankine released her first CD on her new record label "soulrank-records®", which is also a trademark, regestrated by her, and a few months later a LP CD on which
she brought out one of their own song together with one of the selected songs of the international musicians.A Compilation with very
interesting artists.
From 2010 to 2011 she was a lead singer of a Jazz Band in Berlin/Germany. She attended a school jazz vocals, piano and music theory lessons. After two years she finally returned to the music. When
the band broke up, she turned back to her solo career.
She searched for new musicians, to perform again and continuing to work on her music program.
Since September 2012 Lili Marleen Rankine is back on stage, with her own songs and selected cover songs, unplugged performances with her guitarist Bernhard B. in Berlin, Germany.
Listen to her and her music makes it very special. Her two CD´s are limited editions. Her songs is timeless music.
